Total War: Warhammer 3’s patch 3.1 is bound to usher in a new set of changes as post-launch support for the grand strategy game continues. Its release date is on the minds of both players who’ve tried out the Chaos Dwarfs DLC and those who are waiting for more improvements before dipping in.
Total War: Warhammer 3’s update 3.1 release date marks another step on the title’s roadmap for the year, looking to build on the changes introduced by the massive 3.0 update.
Total War: Warhammer 3 Patch 3.1 Release Date
Total War: Warhammer III’s patch 3.1 wasn’t given an exact release date initially, but the blog post dedicated to update 3.0 did give us a sense of when we can expect it to go live.
There, developer Creative Assembly confirmed that we can expect the patch to drop “in a few weeks,” which we interpreted as meaning somewhere between May and June 2023. The developer later narrowed down that window to “the final week of May,” before releasing the update on May 25, 2023.

The content coming our way includes “more fix-based wholesomeness,” as changes that didn’t make it in with update 3.0 will be deployed.
Total War: Warhammer III’s update 3.1 also adds the Chaos Dwarfs as an endgame scenario in Immortal Empires, seven new Regiments of Renown for the base races of the third game, alongside a new legendary hero.
In addition, Bretonnia is also getting a suite of updates. On the campaign, Damsels now benefit from the Troth’s feature, while the final Vow or Troth in the series grants permanent access to The Blessing of the Lady for any character that might obtain it.
The Blessing of the Lady itself has seen changes, granting 15% Ward Save instead of +25% Physical resistance. New attributes better reflect the interplay between knights and peasants, while Hippogryph Knights have received a buff.
AI artillery units have also received improvements in walled settlement battles, while a number of tooltip fixes have been introduced.
