Tower of Fantasy is an open-world sci-fi RPG available on PC and mobile. As a result, you should expect a lot of different methods of controlling your character.
The good news is that controller support works pretty well, with a few minor annoyances that will hopefully be fixed over time.
Tower of Fantasy Controller Support
To start with, the now ubiquitous Xbox controller works great for navigating around the world and combat feels pretty intuitive - as you’d expect from a somewhat casual RPG.
The only downside to this is the attack and interact B button is one and the same, and fighting near interactable objects like loot chests can cause you to be yanked out of your combat stance mid-fight.
This isn’t a massive concern as movement is a crucial aspect of battles, but it’s worth knowing about ahead of time.
- Tower of Fantasy comes with Controller support on launch, but it's limited at the moment, just a few minor issues that will hopefully be fixed
The second issue is the menus and map, which right now lack comprehensive support. As a result, you’ll need to use the mouse and keyboard for specific actions, though these are few and far between - you can get through almost everything sitting back with a controller in hand.
If you’re interested in lounging with a controller, you might also be interested in the Cross Platform Support.
