There are games that have neared the expected deadline and have yet to get anything but a vague 2019 release date, while others like The Sinking City have had their release date pushed ahead, claiming saturation of game releases and having extra time to polish the game.
Taiwanese developers of a horror game Devotion have removed their game from Steam after "accidentally" mocking the Chinese president Xi Jinping by an in-game poster and having Chinese bomb the game with poor reviews on Steam.
