The years to come are looking quite busy if you’re a fan of George Lucas’ universe, as multiple upcoming Star Wars games are currently confirmed to be in development for PC. Spread across different genres and coming from several studios, it certainly appears that we’ll be seeing more of the Force than we did in the past.
This drive for multiple upcoming Star Wars games on PC comes after publisher Electronic Arts lost its exclusive rights to use the IP. It’s also accompanied by similar efforts across different mediums including TV series and books so, if you’re a fan of where Disney is taking the universe, plenty of content to devour is coming your way.
Star Wars Eclipse
Release date: TBA
Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream is working on Star Wars Eclipse, an action-adventure game that’s still in early development as of November 2022. All we’ve seen so far is a rather cryptic cinematic trailer and it does certainly seem that it’ll be a while before we’ll get to learn more about how the game actually plays.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake

Developed by Aspyr, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake brings back one of the most beloved single-player Star Wars games on PC. We haven’t seen a lot of it since its 2021 announcement, but in the absence of a new, non-MMO entry in the series, getting to explore space in the Ebon Hawk once more and leave our mark on the galaxy definitely sounds exciting.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Next up on our list of upcoming Star Wars Games on PC is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Worked on by a team of Respawn Entertainment developers led by Game Director Stig Asmussen, the sequel picks up five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It follows Cal Kestis as he continues to evade the Empire while dealing with the fact that he’s one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy.
Respawn Entertainment-developed Star Wars FPS

Although Electronic Arts no longer has exclusive rights to develop games using the Star Wars IP, it actually has several projects in production, including a first-person shooter coming from Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment. Little else is known about it at this stage, aside from the fact that Peter Hirschmann is leading the team working on the game.
Bit Reactor-developed Star Wars Strategy Game

Greg Foerstch previously worked on XCOM and now his new studio, Bit Reactor, is working on a Star Wars strategy game, with Respawn Entertainment set to handle production duties. This was the third Star Wars game revealed by Electronic Arts back in January 2022.
Massive Entertainment-Developed Star Wars Game

Ubisoft also counts among the publishers on our list of upcoming Star Wars games on PC. A new story-driven open-world Star Wars game is currently in development over at Massive Entertainment, the studio behind The Division. The game is developed using the Snowdrop engine.
Skydance New Media-Developed Star Wars Game
Release date: TBA
Founded in 2019 and led by Amy Hennig, Skydance New Media is currently working on “a narrative-driven, action-adventure game featuring an original story in the Star Wars galaxy.”
More upcoming Star Wars Games on PC are bound to be revealed as we head into 2023 and beyond alongside details about those already on our list.
