Warframe</a>'s latest batch of content has only just been released this week, but as per usual, there's a whole lot more to be looking forward to than what is already available ingame. After a bit of a hiatus, Digital Extremes are back to their bi-weekly streaming schedule with Devstream 116.
Devstream 116 has given us a look at some really exciting stuff that's in the pipeline for Warframe. Though the originally intended focus for this devstream was for the developers to talk about the melee combat rework, things had changed along the way.
First thing worth mentioning is that Warframe's soundtrack is now readily available for listening on Spotify! Similarly, you can now theme your PS4 with a Fortuna-inspired Warframe skin, which is quite lovely indeed.
Developers have announced lots of new Operator customisations, and a Deluxe skin for the elusive Equinox Warframe: that of an angelic samurai and a demonic ninja combined into one. Chroma Prime has also officially been revealed! Alongside its signature Rubico Prime and Gram Prime weaponry.
Lots of Fortuna gameplay has also been showcased, with a focus on using the ever-popular K-Drive hoverboard tech. Expect customisation, tricks, and a fully-fledged faction build around the K-Drive.
Finally, some details have been given about the upcoming Melee 3.0 mechanics. We can expect, for example, to be able to rapidly switch between dedicated melee and long-range modes so as to make better use of the game's varied combat mechanics. More details are pending, too, so stay tuned!
