The latest content update for Warframe does not have a particular focus on extending the game's numerous gameplay systems and mechanics, but it does add one thing that's been quite a long time coming - the arcade machine to play mini-games on!
Called 'The Ludoplex', this item will feature all three of Warframe's special mini-games, the latest of which is also released in today's update - Frame Fighter. This mini-game will have you duke it out in classic Street Fighter fashion with your friends or random players using your Warframes.
Aside from a new nexus for Warframe's wacky mini-games, which you can purchase from Simaris for 50k standing, Update 23.4.0 also adds a whole new layer of Amp components while rebalancing some of the more superfluous old ones, while also furthering the already impressive list of Dojo decorations.
Warframe Update 23.4.0 Main Additions
Though the complete changelog for this week's update is rather exhaustive, featured down below is a list of all the main additions that you can expect to see upon downloading 23.4.0.
- Frame Fighter released, available via the Ludoplex (Cephalon Simaris - Relay)
- New Operator Amp components
- Rebalanced old Operator Amp components
- New Dojo 'Natural' decorations
- HUD damage indicator for Gara's Splinter Storm ability
- Added a directional arrow Decoration for the Dojo Obstacle Course Architect
- Companion animal Precept optimisations
</ul>
If you've been waiting for a fair new batch of content to get back to Warframe, Update 23.4.0 might just be the thing to get you playing again. In any case, be on the lookout for brand new fragments strewn randomly about levels, as scanning those will let you unlock new Frames for use in Frame Fighter. Happy hunting!
