Publisher Slitherine and developer Black Lab Games are gearing up for the launch of Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector - Necrons, the first major DLC for their turn-based strategy game.
As the name suggests, the DLC introduces the Necrons as a new playable race in Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector, which boasts 14 new units that fulfill different roles on the battlefield.
Wher the relentless attacks of Deathmarks and Hexmarks Destroyers are known for their pinpoint accuracy, Heavy Lokhust Destroyers use their heavy weaponry to devastate opponents across the battlefield as Doom Scythes bring deadly airstrikes down upon their fleshy foes.
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector - Necrons is also accompanied by a free update that introduces the new Planetary Supremacy campaign.
Focused on single-player gameplay, it pits the Blood Angels, Tyranids, and Necrons against each other across a procedurally generated map; the last faction standing is declared victorious
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector - Necrons is slated to launch later today, April 21, on PC, via Fanatical and other major storefronts, as well as consoles. You can see the faction claiming the lives of its living enemies in the lengthy gameplay video embedded below.
