Publisher Slitherine has announced that, following fan reaction that left it “amazed,” Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector will receive new DLC, game modes, and more as part of its freshly revealed Year One roadmap of post-launch content.
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector’s Year One roadmap will split upcoming DLC into two types, one focusing on units, another focusing on factions. We don’t know just yet what the new additions will be but should hear more about them over the coming months.
Developer Black Lab Games continues to focus on Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector’s console version, which is currently being finalized, while multiplayer tournament support and new features are also in the works.
New game modes and maps are also on the way, as is the expected suite of balancing tweaks, bug fixes, and quality of life improvements.
None of the features on Battlesector’s Year One roadmap currently have a date, but Chief Marketing Officer Marco Minoli has also confirmed (at around the 25:00 mark) that “a lot of very secret stuff” is also coming up, thanks to the game being “very successful.”
In our review, we found that Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector “a great game to sink you teeth into” if tactical battles are your thing.
