Wasteland 3 takes some liberties when it comes to naming a few of its skills and, if you’ve glossed over them, Toaster Repair is sure to have stood out.
But what exactly does the Wasteland 3 Toaster Repair skill do and why should you consider picking it up? Here’s what we know.
We’ll crush your dreams right away – you cannot fix all that’s wrong in Wasteland 3’s post-apocalyptic Colorado by using the Toaster Repair skill to reestablish toast as a breakfast mainstay, although, now that we think about it, that would have been pretty badass.
Wasteland 3 Toaster Repair Skill
Instead, Wasteland 3’s Toaster Repair skill lets you, mindblowingly, repair toasters that you encounter as you complete its quests and explore its world.
Toasters can hold some of the Wasteland 3’s more unusual loot. On top of that, having the Breakfast Bandit perk enables you to also find Toast as an item.
You can either choose to eat Toast which, for the cost of 2 Action Points, restores 100% constitution and grants +1 AP for 90 turns, or sell it for an extra boost to your income when you’re saving up for an expensive item or simply need to restock.
As cool as being a Toaster Repair master in Wasteland 3 sounds, you won’t find toasters all that frequently as you trek across through Colorado.
This, ultimately, makes the skill not all that vital, being one that you should pick up only if you want to add some extra flavor to one of your characters.
