Team Ninja’s latest Soulslike, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, set in the Three Kingdoms era of Chinese history, is now available for those who have been eagerly awaiting an action RPG that breaks away from the typical Dynasty Warriors formula.
As the genre is less tricky with the help of friends, it would be great to have some assistance, even if your friend bought a copy of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty on a different console. However, when it comes to crossplay , the answer is both yes and no, but mostly no.

If you were hoping to play Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty with your friends on PlayStation from your PC, that won’t be the case. The game’s crossplay is predominantly cross-generation, like players on PS4 playing with friends on PS5.

However, players who purchase the game on Xbox One, Series X/S, or the Microsoft Store can play together. So if you’re one of the few people who purchased the PC port on there instead of Steam, you can play with Xbox users. This leaves Steam users to only play the game with other Steam users.
Although there’s always a possibility that crossplay may expand in the future, it is unlikely as Koei Tecmo would need to put in additional work to make it happen. However, we can always dream otherwise, and we’ll keep you informed if anything changes.
