Publisher Konami Digital Entertainment has shared a new video touching upon what Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel’s solo mode has to offer players of the upcoming online card game.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel’s solo mode is a good first stop for anyone looking to learn the game’s basic mechanics, lore, or expose themselves to different deck types before venturing into other modes.
The tutorial teaches you the basic rules of the game, giving new and returning players a stable footing. Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel’s solo mode also includes campaigns that “will give you a particular depth of knowledge to help you become the best Duelist possible.”
They not only explain the lore and background story behind the cards you end up using, but also feature practice and duel matches. Reaching the final objective unlocks chapters that expose you to “Decks of different variations.”
Needless to say, going through these matches gives you a better understanding of how to use certain decks and counter various mechanics used by your opponents, before creating your own and venturing into other modes.
You can watch Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel’s solo mode in action in the video below. The game is expected to launch at some point this winter on PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS.
