If it wasn’t obvious enough already given the name of the game, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is the latest addition to the Marvel vs Capcom franchise. We all know this series features over-the-top fighting, anime style energy beams and iconic characters from two major companies. This is actually the second MvC game to launch on PC, the first being Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 which we scored a perfect 10/10.
Marvel vs Capcom Infinite features 2v2 team battles with new characters from both sides entering the fight for the first time. This time you can pick brand new characters such as Mega Man X, Gamora and Ultron Sigma. You also have new gameplay mechanics in the form of the six powerful Infinity Stones. Each stone gives your characters unique abilities that can quickly change the outcome of the battle when used correctly. Though we won’t be playing through it on stream today, Capcom has also included a cinematic story experience for players to sink their teeth into.
