Last Day of June is an interactive adventure game about love and loss, that asks the question: “What would I do to save the one I love?" So, a laugh-a-minute comedy then. It's going to be sweet and sad, no matter what folks. There's a lot of talent behind the game too, including Massimo Guarini (Murasaki Baby, Shadows of the Damned), award-winning musician and record producer Steven Wilson, and giving the game its signature stop-motion-style look is writer/director/animator Jess Cope (animator on “Frankenweenie”, director for Metallica’s “Here Comes Revenge” music video).
The game's won several awards already, including IGN's 'Best Adventure Game of E3 2017'. Players will interact with characters during key moments of lead couple Carl and June's relationship. The mere fact that one of them is named "June" does not bode well given the title. I'm going to have a whole box of tissues ready.
You can watch the stream below or go to our Twitch channel for the full experience. If you miss it you can check out our recent broadcasts or our YouTube channel. The game's not available until tomorrow on PC, so check it out now! We're experts, you know!
