The Best Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Mods
Gransys Texture Improvement Project
This is a mod focused specifically towards the landscapes and building textures of Dragon’s Dogma. If you want something just a bit more visually immersive out of your environment, this mod retextures much of the vast world of the game in glorious fashion. Dirt, brush, and trees will look rougher and the mud, wood, mortar, and stone of town buildings, forts, and castles will look far much more detailed. Find it on Nexus Mods.
ENBSeries v0.294 for Dragon's Dogma
Originally created for Skyrim, this mod contains an additional set of options for making Dragon’s Dogma’s already expansive world more beautiful. You’ll get shader, depth of field, bloom, SSAO, and SSIL options to play with along with an option to toggle the HUD on and off. Tailor the visuals of Dragon’s Dogma to your own tastes and preferences with these extensive options made for the discerning dragon slayer. Grab it from its own website
SweetFX Settings for Dragon's Dogma
SweetFX is a mod that has been used for several high profile games in the past. It’s the kind of mod where you can clean up the looks of a game without sacrificing performance if you want. You can also crank the settings to go full out and make your game as beautiful as can be. With SweetFX you get a myriad of tools that can run the gamut from the minimal clean-up to full-on overhaul. The choice is yours with this mod which can be downloaded from its own website.
Main Character/Main Pawn Ingame Editor
Some people like to change their mind about everything. It doesn’t matter what it is, whether it’s what they eat, when they’re hanging with friends, or what their Dragon’s Dogma character looks like. Fortunately for them, not only does this mod supply them with an option to change their character’s looks at any time, but they can also adjust the look of their main pawn as well. Talk about a bonus. Grab it as part of a broader mod from Nexus Mods.
DualShock 3 Buttons for Dragon's Dogma PC
Mouse and WADS is fine for a lot of games. It’s not bad for Dragon’s Dogma either, but for a game that originally came from consoles, some players just can’t get away from using controllers. Unfortunately, if your pad of choice is the DualShock 3, Dragon’s Dogma doesn’t swap the PC button keys with your DS3 buttons on the screen. This mod is your answer. It will ensure that while using your DS3 controller, you’ll see the proper buttons that should be displayed on the screen next to their actions. Grab it from Nexus Mods.
No ESRB Loading Replacer
This mod is simple, yet clean. Some people don’t like the glaring ESRB logo crowding their game at load-up. With this mod, the ESRB logo will be replaced by a black screen while the game loads. Then, the Capcom logo that should follow will be replaced by the Dragon’s Dogma logo. Alternatively, there is a file included that blacks out the ESRB logo, but keeps the following Capcom logo if you so desire. Get it from Nexus Mods.
BetterColor ReShade Preset
As stated in the title, this is a ReShade aimed at giving better-looking colors to Dragon’s Dogma. It lowers the yellow shadings in the game to take some of the blandness out and make the game pop a bit more. Furthermore, it removes the ugly little night banding effect that makes the skies look a bit (or quite) ugly, proving a much more realistic night sky in your game. Find it on Nexus Mods.
No Carry Limit AND_OR Sprint Stamina adjustments
In the world of free-roaming video games, nothing puts a speed bump on the journey like having to empty out your full inventory or refill a stamina bar. This mod hits on both situations. It allows you to bump your character’s carry weight up to 10,000 in all classes, cut your sprint stamina consumption by half, and/or remove stamina consumption altogether. You can choose to use any of these settings in tandem. Download it from Nexus Mods.
wickfutENB Dragon's Dogma
Always looking for that certain something to add more life, color, and texture to your Dragon’s Dogma experience? Take a look at this mod. It features a new slew of settings that aim to make the entire world much more immersive and to your liking. Lighting effects will be more dynamic, but not overly intense, colors will be richer, and textures will be much more detailed. This mod is promised to be updated and improved over time, so check back on occasion. Grab it from Nexus Mods.
DDDA Japanese VoiceOver Project
“They’re masterworks all, you can’t go wrong.” While the European fantasy of Dragon’s Dogma is well-suited to the game’s over-the-top English voice acting, there are still some folks who want the original Japanese experience. “They’re masterworks all, you can’t go wrong.” Or maybe they want to ease the sting of the repetitive dialog by putting it into a different language. “They’re masterworks all, you can’t go wrong.” This mod restores the console version’s option of Japanese voices. “They’re masterworks all, you can’t go wrong.” Get it from Nexus Mods.
Aspect Ratio Fix
If you’re running Dragon’s Dogma at any non-standard resolutions, you may have run into some serious interface scaling issues that render the game basically unplayable. That’s a strong mark against an otherwise excellent PC port. Thankfully, modders are once again coming to the rescue. While the Aspect Ratio Fix is still a work in progress, it will let you see the game in the delicious ultra-widescreen resolution you so desperately crave. Find it on Nexus Mods.
HD Environment Texture Overhaul
While Dragon’s Dogma looks pretty great on PC with its improved resolution and framerates, you’re still looking at nasty, 2012-era textures once you get up close. And who wants that? This mod aims to completely replace the muddy vanilla textures with new, high-resolution options that look oh-so-much prettier. It’s another work in progress, but you can expect to see the look of the world slowly improved as more environments get updated. Grab it from Nexus Mods.
That’s all for now, but be sure to check back. Dragon’s Dogma is a great game that’s bound to gather player interest on its new platform, and with that, new mods are sure to come. We’ll be adding to this page as we come across new and interesting creations we think you might like. In the meantime, keep your swords tempered, your skills sharp, and your wits about you on your journeys.
