Tava’s Blessing / by Nina Sky Red Rayne and Cyber Frost Ninja
Gamers who are tired of the generally Nordic theme of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim may want to try the Tava’s Blessing mod, which dramatically shifts the game to an Arabian-style desert setting, along with three quests and new NPCs to encounter. The central hub is the titular desert port city of Tava’s Blessing. Aside from the new location and the quests, the mod features exotic foods, new merchants, new and unique NPC dialogue options, new Interiors, and a new romantic option.

Is Skyrim too easy for you? Do you wish that you’d get attacked travelling from one end of the land to the other, whether overland or via fast travel? Is sleeping too peaceful? The Sands of Time complete overhaul removes all that, and now random encounters are far more frequent and deadly. The encounters are contextual as well - players passing near a swamp will get attacked by monsters appropriate to that region.

Based on those old games, this mod has you playing as the resurrected knight Sir Daniel Fortesque. It features four levels crafted with the Skyrim engine, totalling about 3 hours of gameplay. Packed with humor and festive Halloween embellishments, give this mod a download and see how fun it can be.
Skyrim’s Walking Dead / Created by sp0ckrates
They’re out to get you. Or at least they can be with this mod that transforms all foxes, bunnies, and mud crabs into flesh-eating denizens of the dead. You can fight the hordes or, if you’re so inclined, watch them maul other unsuspecting citizens of Skyrim. The mod is easily enabled and disabled, allowing you to play around with an undead dystopian Skyrim at your leisure.
Helm’s Deep / Created by Argon0981
In the creative world of castles, keeps, and fortresses, is there any more notable than Helm’s Deep from J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings? We dare say not and with this mod, you can bring the entirety of Helm’s Deep into Skyrim as an explorable location. The author has gone out of their way to recreate every detail inside and out from the classic fortress. Even Orcs can visit this one in Skyrim, no hard feelings.
Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Mayan Outfit / Created by블랙번
With this mod, you can deck Edward Kenway out in a slick Mayan-themed outfit. It’s a little showy for an assassin, but you probably won’t mind when you’re slitting throats and boarding boats in style.
Shor’s Stone / Created by Arthmoor
Ever feel like the village of Shor’s Stone felt lacklustre and only halfway complete? You wouldn’t be alone. This mod is an expansion to Shor’s Stone that gives the sloppy little village more context and connects the dots of what seemingly should have been going on there in the first place. Buildings, NPC interactions and rituals, and an inn have been added to the town, among other improvements.
Mimic Chest / Created by gg77
Mimic chests can be downright terrifying creatures in most fantasy fiction lore. Unfortunately, they don’t exist in the world of Skyrim. At least without this mod they don’t. This mod replaces the werewolf model and allows the player to transform into a mimic chest to wreak terror on the unfortunate denizens of Skyrim. They’ll rue the day they tried to get at your precious contents!
Noldor Content Pack / Created by Maty743
Fans of Lord of the Rings might be interested in this mod, which allows the user to build different armours and weapons inspired by the Noldor High Elves of J. R. R. Tolkien’s fantasy lore. The mod includes four sets of armor in two tiers, three weapons in two tiers, and supports all races, genders, and weight modifications.
A Quality World Map and Solstheim Map / Created by Wehrwolfmann
This mod changes the map in Skyrim into a detailed 3D model with textured elevations and roads. It’s really quite impressive and works with the Dragonborn DLC as well, giving Solstheim a textured map and defined roads as well. Even so, the mod can be used even if you don’t have the Dragonborn DLC.

Each element also has its own unique trait, upping the capabilities of sorcerers even further. There are two separate mods, one supporting vanilla Skyrim and the other supporting Skyrim with Dragonborn installed.
The Forgotten City / Created by Nick James Pearce
An engaging adventure takes you to an ancient underground city where you must solve a murder mystery. You’ll travel time, interrogate suspects, fight new enemies, and engage in new moral decisions that will change your ending. The Forgotten City can be used with Skyrim and any of its expansions and though you can do it at level five, it will react to any history you have already established in your adventures in Skyrim.
Day/Night City Lights / Created by JoyTrooper
This mod makes use of the existing light sources in Skyrim and gives more dynamic and sensible context to them, extinguishing many of the lights during the day and making them bright and lively during the night.
Faction Crossbows / Created by Deserter
This mod allows the user to craft crossbows and bolts specialized to several factions throughout Skyrim. The factions include the Companions, Dawnguard, The Dark Brotherhood, The Thieves Guild, The Imperial Legion, and The Stormcloaks. The mod requires you have the Dawnguard expansion, but these crossbows are truly works of art.

The Sword of the Eternal Phoenix / Created by thecakeThief
This mod grants the user access to The Sword of the Eternal Phoenix, a legendary two-handed great sword. The sword is enchanted with Fire Salts which deal burning damage and has a chance to disintegrate victims. It doesn’t do as much base damage as a normal great sword of its caliber, but it swings faster, making up in speed what it misses in strength.
Playable Creatures Pack / Created by iLilMinxKM
This mod allows the user to play as any creature in the entire universe of Skyrim’s universe with full animations. Each creature in the mod will feature a ring that allows you transform into that creature once equipped. Wanna be a wolf? Do it. How about a frost troll? By all means. Fire elementa? Sure, why not. Unofficial Skyrim Patch / Created by The Unofficial Patch Team

This plugin fixes thousands of bugs, misplaced objects, text errors and more. Basically, if Bethesda decided it wasn’t worth fixing, or missed it, this plugin tries to fix it. If new content and gameplay changes don’t interest you, fear not, the unofficial patch offers none. Skyrim is starting to become flawless with this mod.
