Portalarium to "show off latest features" for Shroud of the Avatar at E3
Richard Garriott and his development studio Portalarium will be taking fantasy RPG Shroud of the Avatar to E3 2015 next week. They'll be setting up at peripheral maker Razer's booth at the event. Those who drop in get hands-on time with the "very latest features" for the RPG, which include player-owned towns, and an astrological system complete with calendar. Portalarium has teamed up with Razer for merch!
Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues now on Steam Early Access
Richard Garriott's massively online RPG Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues is now available to the masses through Steam Early Access. It's debuting with 15% off right which expires December 1st. Also available from today is the latest content update, Release 12, which includes several new features with new skills, recipes, songs, maps and even a hint system for newcomers.
Richard Garriott's Kickstarter MMO Shroud of the Avatar coming to Steam Early Access this November
Developer Richard Garriott, known as Lord British to his minions of evil, raised almost $2 million for his next MMO Shroud of the Avatar, a spiritual sequel to Ultima. It's been available for backers to play for a while, but soon everyone else will be able to get their hands on it - developer Portalarium has announced that the game will release on Steam Early Access this November 24.
Shroud of the Avatar cleared for Early Access, greenlit in just 48 hours
Online RPG Shroud of the Avatar from Richard 'Lord British' Garriott barely had time to heckle Steam users before it was met with "incredibly fast" nods of approval from Valve through Greenlight. Developer Portalarium thanked supporters for creating such a positive surge for the RPG, and they're now busy scrambling to get Shroud of the Avatar ready for Early Access.
