Even with the seemingly infinite number of Star Wars games that were released in LucasArts’ heyday, there are more than a few that never saw the light of day. Thanks to a new video by DidYouKnowGaming, we’ve gotten a very thorough glimpse at what might have been with two such titles.

Gamers who love fast, intense combat in the Star Wars universe had a lot of games to choose from the late 90's, including the X-Wing and TIE Fighter games. Now, 1998's Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3D is now available on Steam.

It's a full galactic invasion over at GOG.com as even more classic Star Wars games have exited hyperspace onto the DRM-free store, with the latest additions being Rogue Squadron 3D and 4X strategy Rebellion. There's also Petroglyph's real-time strategy Empire at War: Gold Pack. There's three more to come on January 27th and they are Republic Commando, Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II and Starfighter.
