Rebellion rescues Kickstarter backers from GRIN's bankruptcy
GRIN's Kickstarter for the dark fairy-tale platformer Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries was a pyrrhic victory. While the game was successfully completed and released on Steam, the developer had to file for bankruptcy and was unable to honor the physical rewards promised to backers, which included art books, posters and a boxed edition. The second chapter had to be scrapped.

GRIN, the studio behind crowd-funded action-platformer Woolfe - The Red Hood Diaries, has closed. Founder Wim Wouters broke the news in a heartfelt blog post that basically makes you feel incredibly anxious for all the other indie developers out there.

It's a 2.5D sidescroller with platforming, puzzles, hack 'n' slash and stealth. GRIN hope they'll have a public beta to show sometime this March as currently their halfway through development with an internal alpha. No, they're unrelated to that other GRIN.
