Dead Island 2 has finally launched, throwing hordes of zombies that we can gleefully dismember our way. Regardless if you’re already exploring Los Angeles or plan on doing so later, you may want to know what the max level that your Slayer can reach happens to be.
Dead Island 2’s level cap doesn’t necessarily come as a surprise, since we are talking about a loot-driven, first-person action-RPG. The road towards it is fairly long and violent, but you will reach a point where you can say that you’ve mastered all of your Slayer’s abilities.
Dead Island 2 Max Level
To put it simply, Dead Island 2’s max level is 30, and you’ll need to work your way through the main story as well as several side quests if you plan on reaching it.
- Dead Island 2 max Slayer level: 30
Although killing zombies will slowly get you there, you earn significantly more experience from quests, which is why it’s a good idea to prioritize doing them when aiming for the level cap.
As you gain levels, you also unlock Slayer cards that allow you to tweak how your abilities work or tap into riskier Autophage skills.
The higher your Slayer’s level, the more the rarity of weapon drops increases. At the start of the game, you’ll find predominantly lower rarity weapons.
Then, towards the end, you’ll have a hard time avoiding superior quality gear, which is hard to complain about.
That is everything you need to know about Dead Island 2’s max level and the level cap your Slayer can reach. For more help with the zombie game, check out our guides on Twitch Drops and crossplay.
