There’s no way you can miss Deliver Us Mars’ Chapter 3 first beam puzzle, as it waits for you along the critical path, blocking progress through the story until it’s solved.
Deliver Us Mars Chapter 3 First Beam Puzzle Solution
The goal here, as with its counterparts, is to interact with the beam-generating devices and direct them towards semi-circular targets that start out colored yellow and black but turn a blueish white when powered up.
You’ll also notice a circle split into sections with a power symbol inside hovering above each target.
To begin solving Deliver Us Mars Chapter 3 first beam puzzle, interact with the first beam and direct it towards the target that’s near it, in the same room.
This opens a door to your right. Go through it and cut the locks on the plates on the floor. If the prompt doesn’t show up, you may need to close the distance some more.
This brings up a new beam, that you’ll want to point through the glass at the first target you encountered, which should now have two beams hitting it.
After doing so, head back to the first room and point the first beam through the glass at the second target located in the second room.
This shifts the position of a wall there, revealing a third target that waits next to the door you must use to progress further into the level.
Move back into the room with the second beam, then point it at the third target, which you’ll spot on the wall on the right (look for the power symbol above it or take a while to explore the room if you have trouble seeing it).
This opens the door next to the third device, allowing you to reach the bridge and bringing you closer to the end of the chapter.
