Looking to find out how to use Edgemaster’s Aspect in Diablo 4? One of the best features of Diablo 4 is the freedom to create a build that suits your playstyle the most. With different aspects, powerful items, and skills to choose from, the game allows you to shape your character with endless possibilities as they progress through a world filled with demonic creatures.
Whether you’re just starting the game or are looking for a high-damage build, you’ll want to check out the Edgemaster’s Aspect. Unlike the Sacrificial Aspect that’s exclusive to the Necromancer class, the Edgemaster’s Aspect is usable for all classes. It provides a good chunk of damage boost which is useful in many situations.
But where exactly can you find it, and how does it work? In this guide, we’ll explain how to get Diablo 4’s Edgemaster’s Aspect as well as its stats.
How to Get the Edgemaster’s Aspect in Diablo 4
The Edgemaster’s Aspect can be obtained by completing the Oldstones Dungeon in the Scosglen region. Regardless of the difficulty you’re playing, you can unlock the Edgemaster’s Aspect in the Codex of Power upon completing this dungeon.
If you’re lucky, you may find a Legendary Item with this Aspect attached. You can either keep that item, provided that it’s good for your build, or extract the Aspect of that item to be imprinted on a different or better item.
One thing to remember is that when extracting the Aspect off an item, that item will be destroyed. You’ll want to make sure you check its affixes first and decide if it suits your build. If it doesn’t, go ahead and extract the Aspect so you can imprint it on another item.
Edgemaster’s Aspect Stats
With the Edgemaster’s Aspect equipped, skills deal up to [10- 20%] increased damage based on your available Primary Resource when cast, receiving the maximum benefit while you have full Primary Resource.
Simply put, this Aspect gives you an extra damage boost when your resource is full. You can take advantage of this passive further if you have an Energy Cost Reduction affix on your item.
The Energy Cost Reduction affix allows you to retain your resource quickly, which means you’ll be able to trigger the Edgemaster’s Aspect damage boost effect more often.
Unfortunately, Edgemaster’s Aspect is currently disabled due to a game-breaking bug in the game. It’s unclear when it will get fixed. As of now, you can still obtain and imprint this Aspect on an item, just that the passive won’t trigger.
“We have temporarily disabled “Edgemaster’s Aspect” and “Aspect of Berserk Ripping” from the game while the team works to resolve some issues with these specific affixes. Items that currently using these affixes will still be usable but will no longer proc until they have been re-enabled. We will update the community once we release the hold on these Legendary Aspect.”
The Edgemaster’s Aspect has been reactivated following the rollout of Diablo 4 HOTFIX 9.
