Diablo fans all over the world have been eagerly waiting for the release of the new installment in the action role-playing game franchise. With Diablo 4 finally released, players can dive deep into the amazing storyline, slay horrific demons, and of course, track down powerful loot that comes in the form of unique helmets, armor, and weapons.
One such legendary helmet is the Tempest Roar, a unique headpiece exclusive to the Druid class in Diablo 4. With its signature full-face leather style mask, the Tempest Roar boosts the Druid’s stats significantly when worn, allowing players to resist poison, deal critical damage, and much more. However, as with other sacred unique items, getting your hands on it will, of course, require some extra effort.
Fortunately, we’re here to help you obtain this item. Without further ado, here’s where and how you can get the Tempest Roar in Diablo 4.
How to Get the Tempest Roar in Diablo 4
The Tempest Roar can be randomly obtained by defeating enemies and looting chests, but there’s generally a higher chance it will drop in a Nightmare Dungeon or Helltide. To enter a Nightmare Dungeon or Helltide, however, you must complete the main campaign first and reach World Tier 3. Once you’ve reached this point, you can gain access to these places, which can then potentially provide the Tempest Roar and other powerful items.
Similar to the Grandfather sword, you’ll need to grind your way and hope you are lucky enough to obtain this item due to the randomized loot system in Diablo 4. There’s no exact way of telling when you’ll come across this item, but you can further boost your chances once you unlock a higher difficulty setting such as nightmare. In other words, reaching World Tier 4.
Playing in World Tier 4 means you’ll face harder and more challenging enemies, but the trade-off is that it’ll be easier to unlock better items in the game. That said, if you’re extremely lucky, you might also find this powerful item anywhere on the map as long as you’re playing in World Tier 3 or 4.
Best Tempest Roar Build in Diablo 4
The Tempest Roar has the following affixes and modifiers:
- Damage while Shapeshifted
- Maximum Spirit
- Critical Strike Damage
- Poison Resistance
- Lucky Hit: Storm Skills have up to a [15 - 25]% chance to grant 4 Spirit. Your base Storm Skills are now also Werewolf Skills.
Some players claim this item works best with the Tornado Druid in Diablo 4, where the Lucky Hit effect comes into play, allowing you to spam tornadoes. This is arguably one of the best beginner-friendly builds due to its ranged combat and massive AoE damage. The only drawback is that you’re always on the defensive, hence it’s not optimal for PvP.
