Threadbare Book Location in BG3
The Threadbare Book can be found on a shelf in the garden floor of the Arcane Tower. To access this floor, you’ll need to go down by jumping down on each floor. Unfortunately, this means that you’ll need to risk being hurt in the process to obtain the book, but you should be fine as long as you are careful and take your time.
If you’re struggling to find the book’s location, make sure to utilize the game’s highlight object feature by pressing the ALT key on your keyboard. This feature really helps you to distinguish items in your surroundings, as you’ll notice pop-ups on each interactable object.
And that’s how you find the Threadbare Book location in Baldur’s Gate 3. After reading all the books, you’ll notice that there’ll be a particular interaction when returning to Bernard. When talking to him, choosing the “How can I trust? How will I ever know? / How can I show myself, my darkest me?” dialogue option will lead him to put the Guiding Light ring on the table.
