Wartales throws a lot at you. Even when you’re prepared with the best troops, things can sometimes get unpredictable. That’s why it’s important to equip yourself with legendary weapons. Many of these weapons can be obtained from region bosses, tombs, and arenas, but did you know that you can also obtain them from your camp using a Lectern?
The Lectern is a must-have item for any player who wants to progress through the game. It is a Camp item that unlocks the ability to craft, decipher Codex entries, and research or discover items from ancient treasures. Getting your hands on the Lectern can be tricky, but with our guide, you’ll be able to get it in no time.
How to Unlock the Lectern in Wartales
In Wartales, the only way to unlock the Lectern is by leveling up your Mysteries and Wisdom research path to level 4. Thankfully, this is a relatively easy process, as exploring the world will automatically level up your research path.
If you want to speed up the process, you can do so easily by making Alchemy items, using bombs, and hunting Ghost Packs. Once you reach level 4 in your Mysteries and Wisdom research path, you’ll unlock the ability to craft a Lectern.
Once you’ve built a Lectern in your camp, you’ll need to assign a Scholar to it for it to work. With the Lectern, you’ll have the ability to upgrade weapons or gears by researching them. Ideally, you’ll want to start with Purple items since they will become Legendary items once fully researched.
Other than that, you can also use the Lectern for codex management purposes. The Codex management is a mini-game puzzle that requires you to use an elimination process. It can be confusing initially, but you should get the hang of it after a few tries.
