Throne and Liberty promises a dose of MMO goodness when it launches on 1st October, trading classes for a weapon-centric combat system. If its impressive reveal trailers have caught your eye, you may be wondering whether crossplay is planned for launch.
Throne and Liberty cross-platform support would benefit all players who end up picking up the game. Not only would the feature’s inclusion mean that the player base won’t be split based on which version of the game they purchase, but it could also potentially make for a livelier in-game world.
Throne and Liberty Crossplay Support
The good news is that Throne and Liberty crossplay support is definitely happening and will be available as soon as the game releases on the 1st October, 2024.
This was confirmed when NC Soft and Amazon Games announced their partnership, which sees the latter handling publishing duties for the MMORPG in North America, South America, Europe, and Japan.
- Throne and Liberty Crossplay: Available at launch
Throne and Liberty cross-platform support likely means that you’ll be able to play with friends and strangers across PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5 without having to worry about the platform on which you’re playing.
We’ll have to wait and see how the feature is implemented in-game and whether or not it comes with any limitations, but its inclusion is very much welcome.
