The Spore Creature Creator has spawned over 250,000 new life forms in just one day from hitting the web.
Amusingly and disturbingly a number of taboo body parts have been either replicated or encompass new species as a whole. Yes, willies and boob monsters - for shame!
Snigger all you want but EA has had to take some serious steps to curtail this rising violation of their Terms & Conditions inappropriate content section. Some accounts are being flagged with users facing possible bans.
Nude boobery aside the Creature Creator has been a resounding success. ”The response to the Spore Creature Creator has been overwhelming,” said Lucy Bradshaw, executive producer at Maxis.
”The creativity and passion that the community is putting into their creatures is spectacular. The development team has spent the last 24 hours checking out the amazing creations racing in from all corners of the globe - with peak volume hitting more than 1000 creatures being shared a minute.”
A free trial edition of the creator is available but only lets gamers get to grip with 25% of its content, whereas the purchasable full version gives you all the goodies to play around with.
