Prototype nearly ready for action

Activision’s long-awaited Prototype looks to be finally dated, as the publisher has stated a June release.

Whether or not this is US only remains to be seen, as the information also declared the game will be playable at the New York Comic Con this weekend.

“Hands-on – fans get their first chance to play the highly anticipated open-world/action thriller, PROTOTYPE, planned for release in June,” as reported by Joystiq.

The game, which was the first title to land on Activision’s doorstep from Sierra, has been delayed many times, originally penned for a summer 2008 release.
