Harmonix man Dan Teasdale has accidentally confirmed the existence of LEGO Rock Band it seems, a version of his GDC presentation has blown its cover.
The telling slide also reveals the game is expected this year. The PDF was ”sent for speech approval” and not the version he ”actually showed” during his GDC speech.
A LEGO Rock Band is rumoured to be in the pipe over at Traveller’s Tales but has remained behind a shroud of secrecy. The PDF file revealed the game was supposed to be announced before the GDC event, reports Kotaku.
It appears to be scheduled for release between PSP’s Rock Band Unplugged and The Beatles: Rock Band if the slide proves accurate anymore. While not specifically noted as ‘LEGO Rock Band’ on the slide, it’s surrounded by Guitar Hero and Rock Band game titles.
Someone in marketing is going to be bricking mad over this…
