With the launch of the PS3 Slim came a 1000 percent boost to PlayStation 3 sales, and now apparently a newer bundle model is already planned with a 250GB hard drive.
This new PS3 Slim is expected to be retailing this October and comes with a copy of FIFA 10, and will be exclusive to the retailer GAME costing around EUR 350. It’s all rumour for now.
Sony Europe declines to comment on the whispers, which Eurogamer Spain reports. The current PS3 Slim model houses a 120GB hard drive. The advantage of the old PlayStation 3 consoles is the option to upgrade the hard drive on the cheap, if you have the knowhow.
This is not the first time a 250GB PS3 Slim has been mentioned as an FCC filing was found by PS3 News, with Sony trying to cover their tracks by filing it under Sand Dollar Enterprise.
Does a 250GB PS3 Slim with some football sound like a deal to you, videogamer?
