A Kotaku reader has posted in a page from the Toys ‘R’ Us store’s database which lists a ”XB360 HW RED ELITE” with a price of $399.99, unlikely to be final if true.
It was rumoured a red Xbox 360 might launch to celebrate the arrival of Resident Evil 5, and the fact the franchise is coming to the platform. It all remains a mystery for now.
Supposedly Ars technica has a 360 ”mole” say Kotaku, that sent word that Microsoft and Capcom were collaborating on a special red edition of the console. It is rumoured to include the following:
