Resi Evil 5: Gold Edition will get an update for PS Move but earlier in September for US/EU gamers. Sony plans more for November and December.
Okay so what’s coming out for the Japanese and most likely US and EU users too?
Well Sony says we can expect EyePet, Sports Champions, Beat Sketch, High Velocity Bowling, Kung Fu Rider and Big 3 Gun Shooting, which is actually a bundling of Time Crisis: Razing Storm, Time Crisis 4 and Dead Storm Pirates, reports andriasang.
A free update is scheduled for Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition from day one, which means it should come out in September as that’s when Europe gets it. All the above titles, excluding Big 3 Gun Shooting, are exclusive to the PlayStation Move controllers.
After the launch has passed the Sony line-up is as follows:
• Echochrome (SCEJ, November, ¥3,980)
• Nikudan (SCEJ, November, ¥3,980)
• Move de Party (SCEJ, November, ¥3,980)
• TV Superstars (SCEJ, December, ¥3,980)
• Ape Escape (SCEJ, 2010, price TBA)
• Sorcery (SCEJ, 2011, price TBA)
• Tower (SCEJ, 2011, price TBA)
• The Shoot (SCEJ, 2011, price TBA)
• Heroes on the Move (SCEJ, 2011, price TBA)
Those are all PlayStation Move exclusives too. Killzone 3, Hustler King and Heavy Rain are all going to support Move’s motion platform as well but firm dates remain hushed. So how will the bundle offers go for the Japanese PS3 gamer?
Two titles will be sold as part of special bundles; Resi Evil 5: Gold Edition will accompany a PS Move Motion Controller, a PS Eye camera, and a copy of the game for ¥7,980. While the ‘Big 3 Gun Shooting Perfect Pack’ has the controller, the Move Shooting Attachment device, and a copy of the game for ¥11,980 - both sell October 21st.
Sony plans to package PlayStation Move Omniverse demo discs with select hardware purchases on release day to help try and get you addicted. Sony is yet to confirm what the US and European markets can expect officially for Move’s big retail launch.
