Around 1.3m games sold for the platform too. Xbox 360 leads over PS3 by nearly 8m users in the US, with 23m Xbox Live subscribers.
Software wise, Mass Effect 2 scored second place in the US chart which isn’t bad for only being on sale for six days - it sold 572.1k Xbox 360 copies. Modern Warfare 2 sold 326.7k, Army of Two: The 40th Day 246.5k and Darksiders 171.2k - all 360.

Additionally, 2.3 million Xbox LIVE members set a record last month, marking the most concurrent users online at any given time and reaffirming Nielsen’s findings that Xbox 360 is the most-used console on the market.
Crackdown 2 is slated for June and that’s sure to push up those software figures.
