Nintendo Wii is home to EA Sports Active and it’s proven quite a hit for the publisher, so naturally when the next-gens get their motion techs…
EA Europe’s Dr Jens Uwe Intat say they’ll ”continue to work” with the Wii platform, but says they will also ”try to extend” to Xbox 360 and PS3.
”What we are actually going to do is certainly continue to work with EA Sports Active on the Wii, and we’ll also try to extend that to the other two platforms in order to broaden our activity in that space,” the EA bigwig told GamesIndustry.biz.
”How we will work on that specifically, and what type of software and for what type of hardware, we’ll announce in the future.” Such a tease. EA Sports Active set the bar for what third-party publishers can achieve in sales on the Wii. Have you tried it out?
