It seems the rumours were right after all, surprise surprise.
Microsoft has just officially announced that the third instalment of Peter Molyneux’s iconic franchise, Fable III, is coming to PC under the Games for Windows label.
The announcement also came with news of a limited special edition for the 360, which will include, new quests, in-game items and more. It doesn’t look like the PC version is getting a special edition however.
Sadly, it seems Microsoft has taken a page from Activision’s book and decided to charge us through the nose for it. The standard edition alone is going to cost £49.99, with the special edition costing £59.99. The PC retail version will cost £39.99, and be available for download.
Microsoft are setting the bare worryingly high with those prices, so for their sake, I hope this game proves to be worth it.
