Kitase-san is also occupied as producer of PSP The 3rd Birthday, alongside Versus XIII director Tetsuya Nomura and FFXIII’s Motomu Toriyama.
“We have no release date information to update,” said Kitase-san. ”Unfortunately we can’t say anything about that. We can’t commit ourselves to 2011 either.” That’s horrible news for fans desperate for the next FF Versus instalment, as even TGS might miss it.
The 3rd Birthday has Tetsuya Nomura as its art director, Motomu Toriyama as its writer and Yoshinori Kitase producing the PSP title. Let’s hope the Tokyo Game Show does have something Final Fantasy Versus XIII related to appease the masses.
