Former EA Sports boss Peter Moore, now EA COO, thinks that ”when the dust fully settles,” like when after this fiscal year closes end of March, results will show Call of Duty got chomped.
Battlefield 3 ”will have taken share” away from Call of Duty, he believes. In fact he doesn’t think ”there’s any doubt about that,” unless DICE’s shooter only sells ‘incrementally’.
EA has always tooted DICE’s Battlefield 3 horn for clawing back the FPS crown from Activision’s Call of Duty, but only end of fiscal results will tell and that’s scheduled March 31st.
