EDF: Insect Armageddon DLC now available

D3 has announced that two weapons packs are now available for Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon at Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network. The two new downloadable content packs include “Pounds of Pain! The EDF Battle Armor Weapons Pack” and “Death From Above! The EDF Jet Armor Weapons Pack”. Each DLC is available for 240 Microsoft Points on Marketplace, and $2.99 on PSN.

According to the presser from D3, the DLC packs include:

* “Death From Above” gives players the Jet Armor Pack which includes 15 of the game’s most powerful weapons in one supply drop! Jet pack upgrades offering sniper rifles and missile launchers spell trouble from the skies.

• “Pounds of Pain” gives players the Battle Armor Weapons Pack which features 15 brutal weapons designed to bury the enemy underground! Customizable armor and weapons upgrades promise to obliterate the enemy.
