The bitter and long running legal jabs between Activision and EA will really start this May as California Superior Court Judge Elihu Berle gives the green light.
Activision is to proceed with a ‘contract interference’ lawsuit against EA worth $400 million. The judge said sufficient facts exist to permit a full court hearing.
This is of course all related to the firing of former Infinity Ward bosses Frank West and Vince Zampella who now are best chums with Electronic Arts. Activision accuses EA of luring away the two high profile developers as well as other former employees.
The line in the sand is drawn - now we wait it out.
