Capcom has confirmed in a press release that it’s releasing the Devil May Cry HD Collection, which will bring the first three original Devil May Cry titles including Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition up to the modern era with HD resolutions.
Original PlayStation 2 version of DMC3.The collection was leaked by a Spanish retailer a few months ago, but it wasn’t long before an ESRB listing appeared for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The bundle is part of a recent trend seeing HD re-releases of classic console IPs for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, such as Silent Hill and Splinter Cell.
The Devil May Cry HD Collection will be released in North America and Europe in early 2012.
