HeroCraft PC has announced Victory Banner, a new strategy wargame set during World War II. The game is confirmed to be releasing on PC via Steam, with no release date currently attached.
Victory Banner is set in the year 1941, and takes place on the Russian frontlines of World War II. You play as a commander of the Red Army, and take part in various battles during the war’s middle years.
Victory Banner’s official store description on Steam reads:
“Experience the year 1941 and participate in the famous battles from Brest to Moscow. Command a battalion, platoon, or individual soldier of the Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army!
“Fight on the fields of the Great Patriotic War. Manage troops in tactical mode or take direct control of soldiers. Over 9 missions, take on roles from a militia fighter to a general, from a tank crewman to a scout.
“Command vehicles: at your disposal are the famous “Polutorka,” T-34 tanks, armored vehicles, and, of course, aircraft, including the renowned I-16.”
Victory Banner is developed by Agapov Dmitrii, and published by HeroCraft, the company that released previous strategy titles such as Revival: Recolonization and the Strategy & Tactics series.
HeroCraft also publishes games like Tempest, King of Dragon Pass, and Anvil Saga.
Victory Banner does not currently have a release date, as the Steam store date lists it as “Coming soon.”
