Fable III available on Steam at launch

Fable III may be a Games for Windows Live title, but Microsoft isn’t going to turn their noses at the money they’ll get from releasing it on Steam at launch, too.

And as with most games released in this day and age, there are preorder bonuses depending on where you buy it. Gamers who pre-order the title on GFWL will get Fable: Lost Chapters for free. Steam pre-order customers will receive the “Rebel’s Weapon & Tattoo Pack,” which includes “four exclusive weapons and five exclusive tattoo sets.” The Steam preorder page, however, is not live as of this writing yet.

Of course, Fable III will be available on store shelves, too.
