Irrational Games latest developer diary for BioShock Infinite looks at protagonist Booker and his female ‘sidekick’ Elizabeth, and offers a look at the voice actors behind them.
Actor Troy Baker voices Booker Dewitt and Courtnee Draper is Elizabeth. They and Ken Levine discuss a little about the roles and what makes these characters tick.
Irrational boss Ken Levine also talks about what he looks for in a voice actor and how they can influence the direction a character takes in the script.
He admits he that doesn’t know what he wants ‘a lot of the time’ from these performances and so feedback from them is crucial. This is part one of looking behind-the-scenes at the characters so hopefully we’ll get something even juicier down the line. BioShock Infinite releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC next year.
