Dead Space 3 is said to be Isaac Clarke’s last adventure and set on an ice planet, where the white blizzards will replace eerie darkness; it remains an unofficial title.
An insider told Kotaku that EA wants the Dead Space team to expand and enrich the IP, such as an FPS instalment. In 2009 an on-rails shooter came out for Nintendo Wii, now ported to PS3.
There are ideas floating around for a flight game of some kind for Dead Space too. Once these projects are completed then ”an Uncharted-like game” would commence production, reports Kotaku. Dead Space 3 was almost canned by a management reshuffling at EA, as they don’t sell as well as other big IPs. No Mirror’s Edge then?
