Valve has announced that non-game applications are now available on Steam.
These are the apps that are now available from Valve’s digital distribution service:

As a bonus, most of the software will support Steamworks, and, of course, will support Steam Cloud. If that weren’t enough, the non-game apps are 10% off through to the 9th October.
