Electronic Arts has announced the latest title in their soccer management series, FIFA Manager 13. The new game will be launched on PC this coming Fall 2012.
The major new feature of FIFA Manager 13 is Team Dynamics, which will attempt to simulate professional sports locker room social dynamics. Players will have to ”pay close attention to relationships, egos and goals of individuals within the team”, and they will ”get an overview of team hierarchy, rivalry, personality clashes, personal goals, and much more.”
Players will have their own objectives as well, and if a team doesn’t have enough clubhouse leaders, the team won’t be successful. If that weren’t enough, two addition features called Team Matrix and Hierarchy Pyramid will allow fans to identify which players are having personal challenges and the state of team dynamics.
The game has also upgrades the player AI in terms of where they want to play if they can get awy from their own club. FIFA Manager 13 also makes player movement easier to understand the transfer system.
Finally, the graphics have gotten an overhaul as well, featuring higher resolution graphics as well as some nifty cosmetic staff such as user-created banners, as well as a refined 3D game option.
