The free-to-play The Banner Saga spinoff Banner Saga Factions is now going into beta. The game, which is basically the combat portion of the original game, is available immediately for all gamers who backed the game in Kickstarter.
For those gamers who backed The Banner Saga, they can access the beta in the following way:
* Own a Stoic Community account. Gamers who don’t own one must register with the same email address you had when they used for backing The Banner Saga on Kickstarter.

Wait for the verification email from mail@stoicstudio.com.

When the player’s account is upgraded, they’ll enter a queue to receive Beta Access keys.
Otherwise, interested gamers can apply to be in the beta by visiting the official site here.
