Star Wars: The Old Republic receives 1.2.1 patch, Rakghoul plague cured

The Rakghoul plague event that struck out beyond Taris has been brought to a close with the arrival of patch 1.2.1, which also tops up damage by 5% for Snipers and Gunslingers.

Other additions are letting players add others as friends even if they’re offline. More special events will be coming to SWTOR, although the Rakghoul outbreak won’t be repeated.

There’ll be no more audio irritation from a constant jet-engine sound droning on in the background on Carrick and Vaiken station. Full patch notes have been posted online.
