Project Draco is officially Crimson Dragon thanks to the Xbox 360 10th anniversary event held in Akihabara, Tokyo. There the new name was unveiled and it’s due via XBLA.
Players naturally progress through levels (on-rail shooter) but we control movement to avoid hazards. Through Kinect, the right uses homing attacks while the left fires single shots.
A spirit gauge gradually fills to allow more powerful attacks which requires a wave of both hands. Dragons can be upgraded with new powers and skills along the way.
Japanese magazine Famitsu reports the XBLA exclusive Crimson Dragon is due sometime in spring. The on-rails dragon rider is from Panzer Dragoon creator Yukio Futatsugi. Check out a new trailer below.
