Six of the RTS sequel’s maps will be made available, with the first 45 levels of the game’s progression and bulletin system. All unlocks earned will carry over if COH2 is purchased within 60 days.
That would be within 60 days of the official launch, and provided you’ve used the same Steam account as you did during the open beta.
”We have been working hard since the Closed Beta balancing and improving all areas of the game as well as adding new matchmaking servers. COH2 has had one of the most successful Beta programs we’ve ever run at Relic and the support of the fans has been a critical factor in making the game more balanced and stable for launch,” said Greg Wilson.
Relic is pinning their hopes that fans will love the new fancy Essence 3.0 Engine which includes a realistic weather system through ColdTech, and the revolutionary dynamic line of sight from the TrueSight system. Plus players get to blow chunks out the environment like never before, which always goes down well.
Company of Heroes 2 releases on PC June 25th.
