BioShock creator Ken Levine is a little frustrated with all of the fan fiction and art putting BioShock Infinite’s Elizabeth in adult, often pornographic, situations.
Levin addressed the DeviantArt artists in particular, stating, ”Seriously, whoever is doing the Elizabeth porn on deviantart, please stop it. You’re killing me. It’s like coming across a picture of your daughter. I die a little inside with every page view.”
This isn’t the first time Levine had issues with objectification of Elizabeth. Back in early 2012, much was made of Elizabeth’s hefty bodice, to which he said, ”It’s disappointing when (Elizabeth’s body) becomes a focus for conversation because that was never my intent and it’s sort of a disincentive - I’d much rather talk about what she’s going through as a person, but whatever, they have the right to shout out whatever they want.”
Fans are at the very least eager for Elizabeth’s next appearance in the upcoming Burial At Sea DLC.
